I’ve lived here since the building opened, so it’s been about two years now. I can honestly say that my living experience here at Skyhouse has been nothing but excellent. It’s actually the way the office staff handled hurricane Irma that prompted me to write this. My apartment is a corner unit with 14 full glass windows so I was understandably concerned, but the building never even lost power. Deborah, Nicole and the maintenance team kept an open line of communication as best they could through the whole process. I was also really moved by how Channelside came together as a community. The people in the building and in Channelside are great neighbors and everyone is very friendly. Every time I go down to the office the door is open and Nicole is there with a big smile on her face asking, “how can I help you?” District Tavern right downstairs has a great atmosphere every night of the week. There’s a neighborhood dog park right around the corner. This has been like living in the Ritz-Carlton, and I’m pleased to say as long as I’m living in Channelside I’m living in Skyhouse. For anybody that’s thinking about moving in? I say absolutely, I love this building.
